    PapaSop They link really good as long as you are careful not to overfill them. I had never used them before when I made my first batch and filled them a bit tight. Had a couple slide out of the casings in the water bath from casing breaking at the twist and ties… They are pretty durable though.

      PapaSop first time doing European twisting on hot dog…I do it on fresh sausageall the time
      .

                  Pivodog taste is amazing it was a premix but add other spices to it

                          Pivodog very easy casing to work with just don’t over stuff them or they will blow out

                                    I cannot speak of hand stuffing, but when working at a meat plant they would blow out way more than all the other casings combined. That may have been more to do with the machine, but it was a given every time.

                                      Looks great. I’ve never used the cellulose casings, what is your opinion or pro’s and con’s? Does smoke flavor penetrate? I’ve only used sheep casing on my dogs.

                                      thirdeye smoke will not penetrate those casings. You have to use smoke powder if you want a smoke flavor. Check out the Bearded Butchers on YouTube. They did great video using these casings.
