Chef Tex_77 I’ve gravitated to the “wheated” bourbons like the Weller brand from Buffalo Trace and many others. But, there’s always a place for a High Spicy Rye Bourbon when my daughter arrives. She likes it Hot and Spicy, I have a smattering of high ryes in the 110-120 range just for our enjoyment. Just enjoy the ride.

I LOVE this post, I think we need to make it a Monday morning tradition!

I made smoked wings, the real hey here is to get a shelf in your smoker to keep them up off of the grates, that makes all the difference! Then 3 hours at 200° and then toss in a sauce if you want but I didn’t think they needed it!

Tex_77 that is my plan in about ten days for 10-14 days of solitude. I have two daughter in-laws and neither know how to cook or were taught. But they won’t accept help w/o being offended. I guess that is why they invented antacids and the like.

YooperDog Well, just cook your own meal and just have a salad with them. At least you eat well when you get back to your place. I’ve been know to do that when people refuse assistance. I cook for thousands of people and they won’t accept help. Wife and I just visit and then go home and eat well. LOL

YooperDog Tex_77 Yep, insecure people will never learn anything new and wonder why nobody rants about their dishes. Sad for them. Just take small portions of everything. Then, eat tasty food when you get home. 🙂

Air fryer Cornish game hens and some mixed roasted veggies. Not bad for a weeknight dinner with the wife.
