Nice. Enjoy. We actually just received our allocation of this. " It’s all sold". I’ve never tried it.
Just tried a rye from the Woodinville distillery this week. It’s very tasty but, not my go to option. Not dissing their product. Just doesn’t catch me. Perhaps I need a few more samples…
PapaSop I have never tried Woodinville’s Rye, but man their Bourbon was darn tasty.

PapaSop I was just gifted a Sazerac Rye whiskey 90 proof from one of my girl buds and had it neat. I normally do not appreciate too many ryes. But, this one hit the old taste buds very nicely. It was one that I just sat back and enjoyed sipping. Shame on me!!!

zbigjeff That’s one long necked Rye! Looks good too.

PapaSop Woodinville, that’s from my neck of the woods. Lots of wineries up there and Red Hook is located where they are at.
johnsbrewhouse I have the Woodinville. Nothing wrong with THAT!!!
-
PapaSop I try to stay south of Seattle if I can. I hate having to go any where near the Seattle area if I don’t have to.
johnsbrewhouse Everything is peaceful in that city according to the Prime Minister and his aides.

PapaSop Woodinville is a little light for me. Wonderful with ginger. But, not in my regular rotation. It’s not bad. But, I have what I say is better.

zbigjeff I’ve tried it, but I can’t drink a lot of hard liquor or alcohol. They make a good product. Living south of Seattle and rural, we have local distilleries that have some pretty darn good product. I go for their free samples.

johnsbrewhouse I love that people on this site definitely “You Do YOU”. The local distilleries around here are also getting better also.

zbigjeff in my book, there are not to many “bad” bourbons, only good, better, and best.

-
GWG8541 For me it’s some of those bourbons that are super hard to find or the next best thing, I try them and decide not for me. Or you read about they get better once you open them, drink it until you get to about 2/3rds left, let it sit for a few months before it get’s real good!

Although have not tried, glad to see Mr. Jameson got on board with Team-Orange.

Here’s a review of the Jack Daniel’s Bonded products: https://youtu.be/kmJGjp1RP8E
Papasop, they said they are in a 700ml bottle versus a 750ml bottle. They said its because it’s going to go on the international market, but I wonder if its not shrinkflation?

Tex_77 Interesting review on the new JD products. Maybe we buy a couple within the group and try them. In my world, JD neat is not a thing. Like it waaaayyyy better with coke. Maybe, it’s just my taste buds. We will see. I also laughed at the 700 mls. Agree with the shrinkflation angle.

Having a Ranch Lemonade tonight! -
Tex_77 OK, what’s a “ranch lemonade?” Been to every state and never heard it referred to with those words.
-
Juice of a lemon, Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka or Absolute Citron, top off with equal parts club soda and lemon-lime pop.

Tex_77 sounds refreshing and dangerous in hot weather.
