johnsbrewhouse Finally, no rain or snow. 72 and sunny. Chamber of Commerce day. Hoping for day 2 tomorrow. Also, a test at the doc had a good result. Yay!

Both of my sons were at the house this evening. We were setting on the patio watching the sun set when my lovely wife suggested I make some Irish coffee to take the chill out of the air. The whipped cream was left over from a homemade Strawberry cake my youngest made his Mom yesterday. Life is good.

We just received our yearly allocation from Sazerac.
                1cs Sazerac Rye
                1cs Eagle Rare 18yr
                5cs George T Stagg
                2cs Weller Antique
                3cs Tom Handy

                Rare stuff for my area… BTW, 1cs = 3btls
Only certain top accounts will get this stuff. Most all of them do some type of raffle on these.

PapaSop I was just gifted a Sazerac Rye whiskey 90 proof from one of my girl buds and had it neat. I normally do not appreciate too many ryes. But, this one hit the old taste buds very nicely. It was one that I just sat back and enjoyed sipping. Shame on me!!!

Nice. Enjoy. We actually just received our allocation of this. " It’s all sold". I’ve never tried it.
Just tried a rye from the Woodinville distillery this week. It’s very tasty but, not my go to option. Not dissing their product. Just doesn’t catch me. Perhaps I need a few more samples… 😉

Have a cousin out that way. She has visited that distillery numerous times.
Their bourbon is quite tasty. I just need to cozy up to the rye a bit. 😀 👍

zbigjeff I’ve tried it, but I can’t drink a lot of hard liquor or alcohol. They make a good product. Living south of Seattle and rural, we have local distilleries that have some pretty darn good product. I go for their free samples.

zbigjeff I’ve tried it, but I can’t drink a lot of hard liquor or alcohol. They make a good product. Living south of Seattle and rural, we have local distilleries that have some pretty darn good product. I go for their free samples.

PapaSop Woodinville is a little light for me. Wonderful with ginger. But, not in my regular rotation. It’s not bad. But, I have what I say is better. 🙂

zbigjeff in my book, there are not to many “bad” bourbons, only good, better, and best. 😁
