Chicken Strip two ways, |Chicken-On-The-Run-Breading and Flavor Crisp Nashville Hot

Tex_77 Great looking chicken. I need to try Chicken on the Run again. Your’s has me craving some chicken.
-
Joe Hell That will start your day, and year of right. If probably have to have a nap afterwards though.

I haven’t been cooking. I had to go into the walk-in clinic yesterday morning. I am ringing in the new year with a nasty sinus infection. But I did manage to hang out with the neighbors for about 2 hours and did manage to get some tiger meat!

It might not look the most appealing but it was really good. A local butcher shop makes it here.ND Mike Never tried tiger meat, but it looks interesting. Miserable time of year for a sinus infection with cold air. Hope you’re getting it beat.
-
bocephus thanks! I feel better now that the meds are kicking in. Good day to watch football. It is -20 out.
ND Mike That should make some good ice.

Made a chicken & sausage gumbo for New Years Day. Has been a lasting family tradition since I was a kid growing up in Louisiana.
Happy New Year all!!!

bocephus yeah…we’ve been making good ice for a while now. The only problem is we got a bunch of snow with wind so access to the lakes is not great.

Pork, kielbasa and kraut for today.
(Can’t take credit for making the sausage or the kraut this time around, hadda go store bought)Surg another thing that is good to bake with kraut is chicken breast. I put a layer of kraut, then chicken, then cover with more kraut. Makes great tasting and very moist chicken

Temperature of 2°. Should be cold smoking cheese, but I kind of like to grill when it’s cold. Made the wife grilled T-bone, lobster tail, and fresh macaroni salad for the first supper of 2022.

GWG8541 What a way to end the year. Everything looks delicious. For me, New Years Eve is most always oyster stew. Your spread makes mine look pretty sparse.
wdaly I’ll take a good Oyster stew any day. Happy New Year.
