Last meal of 2021. We always try to have a family meal together on New Years eve, that has turned into a little tradition. Everyone gets to pick a favorite and I cook a little of everyone’s pick. Its turned into a seafood buffet over the years, but I’m not complaining. The hard part is getting everything done at the same time.

Now the big decision of which whiskey will carry me into 2022. Happy New Years everyone.

GWG8541 What a way to end the year. Everything looks delicious. For me, New Years Eve is most always oyster stew. Your spread makes mine look pretty sparse.

Started of the last day of 2021 with a good southern style breakfast. Buttermilk biscuits and County ham. I add a slice of tomato, but man do I miss my garden maters. Another year in the books.

I haven’t been cooking. I had to go into the walk-in clinic yesterday morning. I am ringing in the new year with a nasty sinus infection. But I did manage to hang out with the neighbors for about 2 hours and did manage to get some tiger meat!

It might not look the most appealing but it was really good. A local butcher shop makes it here.

ND Mike Never tried tiger meat, but it looks interesting. Miserable time of year for a sinus infection with cold air. Hope you’re getting it beat.
