ND Mike Thanks Mike, it was. I figured I needed a steak after cutting a ribeye primal into steaks for my daughter and sealing them.

Biscuits and gravy this morning. Used the sausage I made yesterday using the Holly Regular Pork Sausage with extra Sage added. The wife tolerates the spice level better on the Holly better than others, but wants more sage. May order the #1504 CSX and see how she likes that one.IMG_0301.JPG IMG_0300.JPG

Made a batch of deer Chili today. We had freezing rain that turned to snow. Tomorrow’s low is supposed to be -3. Chili and fresh cornbread seemed appropriate.

For desert, a Sweet Potatoe pie. The whipped cream was canned this time.

GWG8541 Now that is what I like, I will take the Elliott Ness & Sweet Tater Pie too, thank you very much!
We did our big batch of chili & Mexican Style Street Corn cornbread last week with Lemon Meringue pie. Have a whole lot to our oldest son & daughter in law to help them to get to feeling better & froze up two large bricks for Doomsday. The only bad thing is I cannot seem to get my Barber, whole Bulgarian Style Buttermilk any more. That is the only kind I like as all the others, I just do not care for so much. I am going to have to send away for that culture & make my own. Nice job on that chili & perfect timing.

Made a batch of deer Chili today. We had freezing rain that turned to snow. Tomorrow’s low is supposed to be -3. Chili and fresh cornbread seemed appropriate.

For desert, a Sweet Potatoe pie. The whipped cream was canned this time.
