calldoctoday you would think, except she gets cold if it’s below 90 outside. Plus, I just make a mean Irish coffee. Do you have a recipe for one?

GWG8541 No, unfortunately I have no recipe for this, yet…Don’t get me started as I will go to dreaming stuff up to cook & drink. It does seem like a good idea though for a malt beverage or the real thing, better yet. I understand on the other issue, I think I just may know someone like that as well.

          Which topic to post to?
A steak with my old grand dad.

Speaking of Old Grand Dad. We discontinued this a few months back. Just brought it back. I know why. The bonds and higher proof are making a comeback.
This is really, really good. Definitely a sipper which I’m not used to but at 114 proof is a winner. Started on the rocks but now tasting neat. Cheers. 🥃

          PXL_20210710_012738876.jpg

Oh yeah, the steak, locally sourced from a family farm and small town butchered and processed. Why is this so much tastier?.. Just saying.

I went camping again this weekend and hit a local liquor store near the campground. I found this and was happy with the purchase. It was a store pick and they did a great job selecting.

Buddy of mine went to Pigeon Forge, TN and brought me back a moonshine sampler. Pretty good, some are kinda sweet though.

My wife and I may be headed to Nashville the end of September and was wondering if anybody had any must see/do/eat-at suggestions?

Surg well the question is how are you traveling, car, camp Rv or hotel? When I pass thru that area I stay at the Navel base 10m north. 10-$12 a day for a camp site

Planning to fly. Doing a long weekend kind of trip. Gonna stay near downtown and probably spend most of our time there. Definitely plan on gettin some hot chicken at Hattie B’s or Prince’s and heard Acme and Pharmacy burgers are worth hitting up.
Only have flight booked so far.
                                        First vacation without the kids.

Surg sounds great. Should be a great visit. Lots of history , music strip and old dives . Enjoy. Just a thought. When I hit a new area I find a bus tour is well worth the time before I wander around. Most of the locals guides can really point out the good and bad spots
