11lb stuffer with one person
-
So I purchased the 11lb stuffer a few months ago but I’m having a real hard time keeping it on the table. I have one hand on the casings and sausage and one on the handle but at times it starts to slip away from me.
Am I an idiot? Lol
-
I use wood clamps to secure it to a table or work surface so i don’t need to worry about sliding.

I use clamps as well but not wood clamps. Not sure of the brand but just squeeze the trigger to clamp down. Work great. -

Riley Renwick I also use a couple of clamps to lock it into the table. It works great for solo stuffing projects!

BobbyMac I also use the quick squeeze claps on a poly foldable table…I use 2 on opposite corners

BobbyMac I purchased a dedicated table for stuffing/processing. I have put holes in the table to bolt the stuffer to the table. This I highly recommend! Hope this helps!

If you have beer I’ll come hold it down for you!

I also have a 11lb. stuffer. I screwed mine to a piece of plywood and then I clamp that to my work bench and can tighten it down as tight as I want without damaging my stuffer base.
-
BobbyMac Yes, a clamp is essential if you are working by yourself. The only other option I have ever seen that worked better was someone removed the baseplate and then bolted it directly to/through the table! Now, you have to have a table you don’t mind ruining bit it didn’t look like that thing was going to rock!
