Teamed up with my youngest son and made chicken Piccata and some scalloped potatoes. I have to give him most of the credit here, I was more like a sous chef this time. The boy can cook.

GWG8541 Now that is what I call teamwork. We will try to post something next week as we did some real nice beefy mushroom enchiladas last week & Margaret a wonderful Nanner Pudding. Andrew & I have been on the road for a week with a full portfolio from the top of Alabama into Florida. We are always glad to get off the road, but worn out too.

Cold and foggy day here today, a good soup day. 15 bean soup with Polska Kielbasa and a bit of smoked maple bacon and some homemade cheesy cornbread for dinner. IMG_0267.JPG

cdavis Put them in at 7:30 am, now it takes patience, wife can’t decide if we are having smoked turkey or pulled pork for supper. She does have a while to decide.

Pretty simple dinner, baked chicken cordon bleu with a light cheesy sauce, some veggies and a couple of chicken tenders. Had some extra chicken while getting ready to make some stock tomorrow while decorating for Christmas.

There is only one meat market I’ve ever seen green chorizo in it, Dzuik’s in Castroville. So when we pass through there I get a few links, it’s a fresh sausage.
