cdavis Put them in at 7:30 am, now it takes patience, wife can’t decide if we are having smoked turkey or pulled pork for supper. She does have a while to decide.

Cold and foggy day here today, a good soup day. 15 bean soup with Polska Kielbasa and a bit of smoked maple bacon and some homemade cheesy cornbread for dinner. IMG_0267.JPG

Pretty simple dinner, baked chicken cordon bleu with a light cheesy sauce, some veggies and a couple of chicken tenders. Had some extra chicken while getting ready to make some stock tomorrow while decorating for Christmas.

There is only one meat market I’ve ever seen green chorizo in it, Dzuik’s in Castroville. So when we pass through there I get a few links, it’s a fresh sausage.

HerbcoFood I have a green chorizo recipe, actually it is Hank Shaw’s. I haven’t made it yet, bit it does look good. It has a bit of cilantro in it and a powdered green if I remember correctly.

gus4416 I always do, then separate them and vacuum seal them. Freezing them prevents smashing them with the vacuum seal.
