Did a little fish fry. Some walleye and northern pike along with some homemade onion rings.20220629_170722.jpg 20220629_172233.jpg
Also made some coconut rice for a side.

ND Mike Now you are really making me jealous and homesick. We used to catch the small Northerns (hammer handles) and dad would make pickled fish, I loved that also.

RON PARRISH no, but it did have some sprite for carbonation. I usually do it as a beer batter but I only had one left and I wanted to drink it!

bocephus pickled northern is great! I’ve learned to take the y-bones out to do pike boneless. I like eating pike. Except this time of year from shallow lakes. The meat gets kinda mushy.

Turkey tetrazzini. Used up some leftover meat from a turkey I smoked. Turned out great.

Did a little fish fry. Some walleye and northern pike along with some homemade onion rings.20220629_170722.jpg 20220629_172233.jpg
Also made some coconut rice for a side.

Now that’s some good eating. Well… not sure about how the rice fits in there.
