gus4416 these are all pretty bland dishes. You can get the larb gai chicken salad dish spicy, but my wife likes it low heat. Usually you just add crushed red pepper to this dish at table to tweak it anyways. But yeah I do that as I like it hot!

      GWG8541 lkrfletcher thx
wdaly You should give chicken satay a try, it is just a grilled chicken strip so a nice thing to do on the BBQ. Just marinate some chicken breast strips in 1 t each of turmeric, cumin, garlic, ginger; 1TBSP each of brown sugar, lime juice, fish sauce, peanut butter, and 2 or 3 T coconut milk.

Some wagyu beef shoulder was on sale last week. So today I put it in the croc pot, made rice, sautéed bell pepper and homemade avocado crema.

              1 lb Ground Beef
1 lb Ground Sausage (we use venison sausage)
              1/4 Cup Flour
              1/4 Cup Dried Bread Crumbs
              1 Egg
              1 Onion (diced)
              1/4 Cup of Milk
Salt and Pepper to taste (1/4 tsp to start)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Beat the egg and then combine all ingredients using mixer (add the milk last as mixing).
              Form into 1 1/2" to 2" meatballs.
Place on cooking rack coated with non-stick spray.
Bake 18-22 minutes or until lightly browned and cooked through.

Shore Lunch Beer Batter mix. You can’t beat it and it is cheap. The key is to use a light beer (I use bud lite) at a super cold temp when you mix it in.

bocephus we had to do a bit of work in South Carolina & Georgia last week. One of our stops was in Vidalia, Georgia. I was hoping to find some good onions at a good price there after our work was done there on Sunday, before heading to the next stop. Unfortunately we did not see really any there, just a lot of talk about them. I think this is the prime of the season, but maybe it was just too hot.
