gus4416 these are all pretty bland dishes. You can get the larb gai chicken salad dish spicy, but my wife likes it low heat. Usually you just add crushed red pepper to this dish at table to tweak it anyways. But yeah I do that as I like it hot!

      GWG8541 lkrfletcher thx
wdaly You should give chicken satay a try, it is just a grilled chicken strip so a nice thing to do on the BBQ. Just marinate some chicken breast strips in 1 t each of turmeric, cumin, garlic, ginger; 1TBSP each of brown sugar, lime juice, fish sauce, peanut butter, and 2 or 3 T coconut milk.

Some wagyu beef shoulder was on sale last week. So today I put it in the croc pot, made rice, sautéed bell pepper and homemade avocado crema.

GWG8541 It needed a jalapeno in it, naturally I thought about that as I was past the point of no return when leaving the grocery store!

Grimpuppy We do onion rings like that when we get vidalias. They are very good, my wife who is not a big onion fan even likes them. Going to try some with a batter made from Chicken On The Run.

bocephus we had to do a bit of work in South Carolina & Georgia last week. One of our stops was in Vidalia, Georgia. I was hoping to find some good onions at a good price there after our work was done there on Sunday, before heading to the next stop. Unfortunately we did not see really any there, just a lot of talk about them. I think this is the prime of the season, but maybe it was just too hot.

Shore Lunch Beer Batter mix. You can’t beat it and it is cheap. The key is to use a light beer (I use bud lite) at a super cold temp when you mix it in.

Shrimp marinated in my wife’s margarita marinade with avocado lime coleslaw in grilled corn tortillas topped with pickled red onions. Only got a pick of the grilled shrimp sorry. I’ll do better next time22C9DCEA-2E1D-4014-80E1-8E4754145627.jpeg
