Credit to the Mrs. for this one. Breakfast bagels this morning. A fried egg from our ducks, homemade bacon, pears, apples, caramelized onion, pepper Jack and a honey-fig jam. It was excellent.

Left over du jour. The wife and I tag teamed for lunch. She wanted pasta salad and ham and bean soup. She whipped up a pasta salad with fresh veggies, some smoked cheese and pepperoni. I did ham and bean soup with Great Northerns I started soaking last night. The ham was a pound of diced that was vac packed from leftover Christmas ham. A quick, easy and pretty tasty soup and salad.

zbigjeff thanks! It’s like my lovely wife said after lunch. “We couldn’t have gone out for lunch and had anything this good”. She’s a keeper and has put up with me for 34 years. Im definitely a lucky man.
