Temperature of 2°. Should be cold smoking cheese, but I kind of like to grill when it’s cold. Made the wife grilled T-bone, lobster tail, and fresh macaroni salad for the first supper of 2022. PXL_20220102_001118237.jpg

GWG8541 What a way to end the year. Everything looks delicious. For me, New Years Eve is most always oyster stew. Your spread makes mine look pretty sparse.

Made a chicken & sausage gumbo for New Years Day. Has been a lasting family tradition since I was a kid growing up in Louisiana.

                Happy New Year all!!!

Went to my inlaws for New Years day dinner and to watch The Ohio State Buckeyes play a great Rose Bowl game against Utah. My contribution to the spread was a Black Bean salad and a Peanut Butter Pie. We had pork loin, sausage and kraut with mashed potatoes. Sorry, but some of the pics were a little after the fact. The game and a few beers distracted me.

gus4416 yeah, after 2 weeks of the Christmas and New Years eating, I’m needing to reduce the caloric intake for the rest of 2022.

HerbcoFood that plate looks great, especially the Black Eyed Pea soup. Were getting snow flurries today and that would be a great soul warmer.

A Classic Oyster stew with added lobster, scallops and shrimp. Maybe it doesn’t classify as Oyster Stew anymore, should we call it Seafood Stew. Here you go wdalyFE15D569-AD32-4B6D-B466-286F6519869B.jpeg
