Deer tenderloins were tonight’s snack. Seasoned with Walton’s Ultimate Steak and Roast rub. They were great.

ND Mike we love it too. The wife made a 5 gallon bucket full for the week of Thanksgiving. It’s almost gone.

I made smoked turkey green chile soup last night. I made the stock from the left over turkey bones and the usual broth ingredients. I will add more beans next time, but it was really good having that smokey flavor. I also made some homemade chips from corn and flour tortillas.

HerbcoFood Great use of left over turkey. I also smoked our turkey. Made turkey and dumplings and a big pot of turkey noodle soup. You can get alot out of an old turkey carcass.

HerbcoFood I put green chile in a lot of things I wouldn’t even thought about adding it to 30 years ago, NM natives rubbing off on me. I think it enhances the flavors if added in appropriate amounts and heats.

HerbcoFood This is pretty good but I buy mine fresh roasted here in New Mexico. I get 2-3 40 lb sacks, depending on what other members of my family want, I have it roasted and then I peel it and put it into quart freezer bags and freeze. I get 12-13 Quart bags per 40 lb sack.
