For mixing, Evan Williams, it’s under $20.00 here for a 1.75

Tonight I’m going with Evan Williams Bottled in Bond with a big ol’ cube of ice.

Picked up a few things today…

Oh man that sour pickle beer sounds amazing. Haven’t seen that or anything like it in these parts. -
Enjoying a nice evening!

Made a Gold Rush for the wife and I and I took a shot of Dickel bottled in bond to give it horsepower.

GWG8541 Nothing wrong with Dickel

GWG8541 I like that Dickel blue label.

Beer now
bourbon later.
Change up

calldoctoday its distilled by Buffalo Trace. An old timer told me about it. Cannot beat it for mixing, especially for partys. Nothing wrong with Old Forrester. It has a little more kick
GWG8541 Old Forester is a great pour. Have 3 different brands of it. People are too concerned about the price and popularity. Drink what you like and enjoy YOUR ambiance.

Tex_77 You definitely have some stuff there that I have never seen before & definitely not in this neck of the woods, at least not pre-made. Looks interesting & easy.

GWG8541 Well, it certainly looks good. How about a chilled mocha Irish Coffee, Ill bet she would really like that this Summer!

calldoctoday you would think, except she gets cold if it’s below 90 outside. Plus, I just make a mean Irish coffee. Do you have a recipe for one?

GWG8541 No, unfortunately I have no recipe for this, yet…Don’t get me started as I will go to dreaming stuff up to cook & drink. It does seem like a good idea though for a malt beverage or the real thing, better yet. I understand on the other issue, I think I just may know someone like that as well.

GWG8541 Good choice keeping her happy. Make TWO.

Which topic to post to?
A steak with my old grand dad.

Speaking of Old Grand Dad. We discontinued this a few months back. Just brought it back. I know why. The bonds and higher proof are making a comeback.
This is really, really good. Definitely a sipper which I’m not used to but at 114 proof is a winner. Started on the rocks but now tasting neat. Cheers.

Oh yeah, the steak, locally sourced from a family farm and small town butchered and processed. Why is this so much tastier?.. Just saying.

PapaSop Old Grand Dad BIB or 114 is a nice pour. Glad you enjoy it. Have a good rest of your day.

I went camping again this weekend and hit a local liquor store near the campground. I found this and was happy with the purchase. It was a store pick and they did a great job selecting.
