Joe Hell here’s a bacon cheeseburger for you with sautéed onions, and homemade dill pickle chips.

Tex_77 Looks great, but he needs that Greek Cucumber Salad with Bacon Ranch Dressing & still something cool to wash it down. That is hot for that neck of the woods, too hot. Like I always said hotter than hell, Hotter than Hell.

calldoctoday I was indoors most of the day thankfully. I ate nothing but cold spring (summer) rolls. Lol. It’s supposed be down to 94 at midnight so I have that to look forward to!

Joe Hell Those cold crisp pickles with a slice or two of Jalapeno & something lemony will go a long, long way for keeping the cool on a hot summer day.

Joe Hell cooling is on the way. We are at 88 degrees for the high today, compared to 108 yesterday. The only thing the humidity shot up this morning with the cooling coming in off the Pacific now.

johnsbrewhouse Hang in there! That is about the same thing it did here after a month in the hot seat & no rain. It was nice here with out the humidity too. I suppose the cool must have been coming from the Gulf of Mexico though, as it could not have come from the Pacific. The Gulf is usually hot though, real hot.

calldoctoday My brother is in Ovilla TX, talked to him yesterday, said it was 73 degrees and rain. My ex sister in law just got here from Grapevine TX with my great niece this morning for a week thinking they were going to see cooler weather. Just warmer than the Dallas area now, but they are headed for the coast so it will be cooler. We are suppose to be more normal next week.

I had done keto early 2019 and went from 300 to 260ish in about 3 months then it took about another 6 months to shed another 20lbs before I hit a wall and eventually slowly let carbs back in. I had also been strict about only eating between 11am and 5pm.

But when I was loosing weight like crazy people would ask what I was doing, and most didn’t believe me that I was eating mostly fatty foods and greens. But my blood pressure and cholesterol remained good, I have an eczema issue that cleared up, and my joints felt better than high school. But keto’s not for everyone, I’ve known people who’s body did not respond so good.

Onion and Garlic Brats from Waltons. We added high temp cheddar and pre-cooked bacon to the mix. Makes for a tasty brat! I was lazy so I heated a can of beans on the Weber.
