gus4416 Thanks Gus, Like I said, I’m not getting as much done in a day anymore. Today was spent finding a queen size waterbed and replacing our old one. In over 35 years this is the start of the 3rd mattress. I’m pooped!

bocephus I try to buy cabbage during the St Patricks day time. That gives me the tightest large heads for the least amount of money.

bocephus I vac seal mine using the accessory tube. 2 half gallon jugs keep me happy for a year usually (that is unless I give a bunch away!) I keep them in the basement fridge with one upstairs.

lkrfletcher We used to just do deer, rabbit & chicken that we raised, fish that we caught, & vegetables from our garden, 56 plus years ago, give or take. But, it has become more difficult to pull that off any more, where we are at. It is a good life though, I thoroughly believe & healthy too. Would love to be able to get back to it & then to add elk or moose to the mix would probably be Utopia.
