I haven’t had a good hamburger in a while, so tonight we had hand cut French fries seasoned lightly with Old Bay seasoning and fried in the CI skillet. The burgers were also done in the same CI and were just seasoned with SPG and were about 6 oz each patty. I added some smoked cheddar cheese and man were they tasty.

glen It IS and even better if you add Mozz. People looked very happy when I told them “you tell me what you’re tasting” and they 90% said “Pizza in a bun”. It’s worth the try for sure.

YooperDog nothing wrong with the old CI. I love a steak done in a CI just as much as a grilling one. That meal looks great.

GWG8541 I was all psyched up to break out the BGE but the snow just hasn’t stopped, expecting an inch tonight. Hoping for better weather this weekend.

It’s really good, I added bacon to that batch. The next batch I make will have pepperoni and possibly some sun dried tomatoes for an extra touch. I even left some un-cased and used it in spaghetti sauce like Italian sausage, the wife like it.

                    My Bad Chefs!
I’ve been under the gun cleaning and getting the house in order for the arrival of our one and only child with our only 2 littles. I’ve been preparing for a BBQ spread to the likes that none have seen before! The weather was looking Great a week ago, now it has went way South! Looks like we are going to have an overwhelming house full now with nowhere to put them!

I was going to fire up the grill for the first time this year, rain started, no problem. Well that changed to snow and it is sticking. So back to CI and the stove. Cooked up a T-bone and a cowboy ribeye and added some sides, life is good.
