I then moved over to try a bottle of Burning Chair Bourbon, if any of you know wine it’s made by the same guy who started Prison wine. It’s a wine barrel aged bourbon.

HerbcoFood I really enjoy the bourbons finished in wine and rum casks. How is that brand?

bocephus Yeah, lots of long days, short lunches and little sleep. Not only am I glad to have it in my rearview mirror I am just happy it went so smooth and isn’t going to be a constant time-suck. Plus, the employee we brought in to be the Web Coordinator is coming along nicely. I fully expect to be able to take an enormous step back from the day-to-day web stuff, which is great, cause that is not what I am best at, nor do I particularly enjoy it. So, get to go back to doing what I actually love about this job!

Some rest is VERY much in order though, I am going to be taking a few days off in the coming weeks, something like a Monday and Friday and I am just going to do projects around my house and catch up on sleep!

Jonathon Like any thing new it is going to take some time to navigate around the sight at first, but I really like all the improvements and overall I think it is going to be a lot more user friendly. Thank all that were involved.

Saw this at a random Spec’s that had the scotch I was looking for. It’s to be one of those high demand bottles. It was limit 1 per customer.

GWG8541 Pretty decent for the price point, the rye in it isn’t over powering. Then there is a sweet finish on the back end.

Well, went shopping for horseradish root and obtained it for Easter dinner. Then, came across a beer vendor hawking Shiner Candied Pecan. Bought it to sip with some Knob Creek Single Barrel 120 proof. The Shiner was very smooth and could taste the pecans. Made watching the Masters very enjoyable.

My buddy gave me a bottle of Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, I thought it was decent. For me it’s not bad but I don’t see all the craziness for it. Though it is my understanding some bottles change their flavor as you drink them, this could be one of them.
