Dr_Pain Huh, I like all of those items named, so why not at the same time. It all ends up in the same place anyway.

Easy dinner tonight . Pot roast (rump)with Yukon gold potatoes, carrots and onions. I seared the roast in a skillet on all sides before throwing it in the slow cooker. Went to work and came home to a great chunk of meat with veggies.

I did a set of Pork Loin Tips late last night, brined in a home made Apple Jack Brown Sugar & Herb brine. Smoked with Apple wood & Bourbon Barrel Staves & served with a Roasted Fall Vegetable medley (Butternut Squash, Sweet Taters, Peppers, & Onions) and a little Macaroni & Cheese. Forgot all about them pictures though as we was Hongry!

johnsbrewhouse Ay Yay Yay that looks good. Horribly fattening for guys like me only, but oh so good! Man, I can just taste a slice of that. I sure do wish I had some of that RIGHT NOW! Got to have them Red Taters too to soak up all that goodness. I canโ€™t say enough about that, but I will say, that is one experiment gone RIGHT!

Surg I like pot roast potatoes and onions, donโ€™t mind a few carrots but not a lot. Mash it all together and pour some of the juice over it.

bocephus thats how my wife always does it, in fact she did it tonight. Ill do the same once in a while. My favorite thing is to mop up the broth with a good piece of fresh bread, especially a good fresh roll.
