I know it looks weird and sounds weird but it is a great burger. I went plain old white bread just like when I was a kid. One piece of bread has Tabasco pepper jelly and the other side has peanut butter with fresh sliced raw jalapeños. The burger is topped with a slice of havarti cheese! This goes great with beer! We call it a nutter burger.

ND Mike Well, I spoke with someone in Dothan a few years ago that had a food truck & sold what he called a “Dothan Dog” He said it was a hotdog with peanut butter on it & he claimed it was very good. I still have not tried it, yet. Now we have a Nutter Burger, not just any old burger, this a complete Nutter Burger. Then that reminds me of another story, for another time.

Homemade chicken noodle soup tonight with grilled cheese sandwiches. Cooked two chickens on the rotisserie last night, made a pan of enchiladas to take on deer hunting trip and wife made homemade noodles for the soup.

Surg there are quite a few burger joints that do it up here. I grew up occasionally have a peanut butter and summer sausage sandwich so this wasn’t that far out of the norm for me. My Dad got me started on the peanut butter and summer sausage. My kids now do it once in a while too. Lol!

Picked some apples today so decided to make a couple of apple pies for the season since it’s getting cold. We had a light frost yesterday morning and expecting a freeze on Tuesday, so trying to clean everything up and get it out of the garden areas. The pies are cooling right now, might have a bite in a bit. IMG_0219.JPG
