mrobisr GWG8541 if you like turnips, do you eat parsnips as well? They are my favorite veggie. This older lady by me makes me parsnip fritters when I give her parsnips. They are to die for

kyle I replace the salt, oregano and pepper I would normally add with the Buffalo Ranch seasoning I have been playing with. Still added some lemon (about half what I normally would) olive oil, white wine and butter. I was going to add some green onions but decided not to, I am trying to see what this seasoning needs more, or less of when cooked with.

Jonathon thanks. Love scampi and love buffalo…put them together how could you go wrong. I was thinking trying to put the Frank’s powder I found on the scampi.

hey vegetarians, my food poops on your food!

When lobstahs are 8.99/lb and oystahs are 1 each you get this. I’m good, what is everyone else eating? Oh and a couple of the garlic and onion brat w/cheddar. I made 25#s today. 25# supreme pizza brats tomorrow.

kyle I really like parsnips. After a couple years of poor germination, finally have a good stand this year. Too bad they won’t be ready till spring!

Nothing fancy just some pulled pork and taco meat nachos for a quick meal. Its a good way to use up leftover pulled pork. 20220626_180813.jpg

lkrfletcher and Surg Ive been on a shrimp kick too! Love a scampi like shrimp dish! Trying to get better at scallops but they are pretty delicate and are easy to overcook.

Jonathon it was after watching either Gordon Ramsay or Kenji Lopez-alt, or a combo that I finally nailed the scallops. Curious how they would be cooked sous vide. I know the shrimp I’ve done that way came out perfect but the scallops need a nice sear in my opinion.
