    zbigjeff Spring has been crazy here. 80โ€™S on the weekend and 50โ€™s now. Frost at night. asparagus has been burnt off once from frost

    RON PARRISH my asparagus has finally kicked into high gear. It was alot slower coming around this year.

      cdavis I would love to see a picture of some of your asparagus, I just learned here this month you could grow it well at home, thx!

        cdavis Mine is just starting to ramp up strong. It was a little spotty but got enough for a couple of meals. Mine is in a bed thats 8 feet wide and 20 ft long. when it takes off you can hardly use it fast enough

          Spatchcocked and smoked a whole chicken. Also made some apple coleslaw to go along with it.

                RON PARRISH wow now that is an asparagus bed. Mine is only 4x8. I wish it was bigger ๐Ÿ˜ช. My wife and kids eat it so fast that I never get seconds.

                      I was going to fire up the grill for the first time this year, rain started, no problem. Well that changed to snow and it is sticking. So back to CI and the stove. Cooked up a T-bone and a cowboy ribeye and added some sides, life is good.

                                This is my asparagus bed. Started with 8 roots 4 years ago. Sorry the kids had already picked it before I got home from work. Had it for supper with some fried chicken and mashed potatoes. ๐Ÿ˜‹20220427_195201.jpg
