Tex_77 I do have that in my arsenal. This was just another one to add to it. The 1920 is worthy.

zbigjeff i think i only have 2 or 3 Old Forester bottles to go before i have them all.
I picked up a couple other bottles last week i need to post.

YooperDog I remember Meister Brau. How about Rhinelander or Foxhead out of Waukesha?
Bob Stehlik Rhinelander for sure, I am trying to remember their jingle, Fox Head sorta familiar but can’t solidly place it.

Tex_77 You DA MAN you lucky SOB. Congrats on that feat. Enjoy your stash. Some of those selections are getting very pricey. I saw some wow bottles that were in the $100 to 200 range while visiting Georgia lately.

Tex_77 The pecan was almost okay with me, but I couldn’t recommend any, my neighbor down the road liked them all. Different tastes I guess
-
YooperDog I forgot about that one, but remember it now. I need to get my sone to take a picture of that bottle of Burgermeister I still have. I don’t know how I have kept it all these years.
calldoctoday You may not want to open it. A couple of my uncles owned tavern’s and I seen a handful of canned goods move across their bars. Schlitz, PBR, Miller and Hamm’s were the standard, but there was always a case ore two of some off brand that a handful wanted. When you went up north to the Northwoods that is where you found the exotics like Rhinelander, Old Style, Linenkugles, Special Export… LOL.

I had my first Old Fashioned (that I remember) on New Years and oh my god is that a dangerous drink!

HAHAHA! Welcome to the family. I love experimenting with different ways of making ol’ fashioned. I should share my current experiment in the recipe section

Dr_Pain There’s many ways to experiment. I’m only up to about 20 and haven’t found a bad one yet. But, still looking for one to blow the top off while wearing a seatbelt.

My favorite so far is simple sirup made from turbinado and Four roses. Great pairing and delicious to boot!!!
I agree with you the journey/experimentation is worth it

First time trying this.

Actually quite tasty. Might have to just sip this slowly. Jonathon’s dance party is still a couple hours away.
Still curious of his version of 70’s and 80’s rock… Hmm.
First Bee Gee song, I’m gone! -
Here’s a new one for me…

Tex_77 Mellow corn is on my to try list
-
Tex_77 It doesn’t strike me as a 114 proof because it’s so smooth. Hoping you enjoy it.
-
Tex_77 OK, another one that I must at least try because I never saw that one anywhere.
-
