Dave in AZ Thank you, yes, the orange ones were a little something different & have a good flavor, more zing or something compared to the red ones.

Thanks to everyone for your kind words. I’ll just say I’ve never put olives on a kabob but I will next time. If you’ve never put cherry tomatoes on one it’s a must try. They are great. This was my first time putting portobello mushrooms on and man are they good. I did 1/2 on the grill and 1/2 on the smoker. Wife and daughter liked the grill better and my son and I liked the smoker better but both were really good. Will be doing this more often the kids loved building the kabobs.

Started off today with some of my Walton’s dry cured bacon and pancakes on the outdoor griddle. I used some local maple syrup a friend produced. I traded some venison for maple syrup last fall. Have a great day everyone.

cdavis I was too & found some first crop corn the other day at the fairest price I have seen. Then someone put it in a place in the back of the pantry rather than the refer & I forgot about it until several days later. It was not unfortunately corn for the compost (Mold, etc. bad). That really irritates me when I do that & waste something. Good luck on getting your new crop corn on the cob!
