cdavis look great. Love the little tomatoes for a burst of flavor.
Dave in AZ Thank you, yes, the orange ones were a little something different & have a good flavor, more zing or something compared to the red ones.
-
zbigjeff I know he enjoyed them as they look fantastic!

Grimpuppy Good looking meal, wish the corn on the cob was ready here, probably another month or so.

Thanks to everyone for your kind words. I’ll just say I’ve never put olives on a kabob but I will next time. If you’ve never put cherry tomatoes on one it’s a must try. They are great. This was my first time putting portobello mushrooms on and man are they good. I did 1/2 on the grill and 1/2 on the smoker. Wife and daughter liked the grill better and my son and I liked the smoker better but both were really good. Will be doing this more often the kids loved building the kabobs.

Started off today with some of my Walton’s dry cured bacon and pancakes on the outdoor griddle. I used some local maple syrup a friend produced. I traded some venison for maple syrup last fall. Have a great day everyone.

cdavis I was too & found some first crop corn the other day at the fairest price I have seen. Then someone put it in a place in the back of the pantry rather than the refer & I forgot about it until several days later. It was not unfortunately corn for the compost (Mold, etc. bad). That really irritates me when I do that & waste something. Good luck on getting your new crop corn on the cob!

Had some ahi tuna, decoded to coat it in everything bagel seasoning and cook it on the camp chef sear box. Very good, sorry no pics of after it was totally done!

GWG8541 You better bar the gates to your yard. The neighbors will be coming with plates in hand.

Jonathon you ever think about cleaning those grates?

Jonathon neat idea on the bagel coating, sounds great and I never would have considered that… now I want some

Tex_77 Those grates don’t need cleaning, they need to be replaced. They are rusting from the inside, to much scraping and not enough treating with oil. The porcelain coating is gone.

Tex_77 johnsbrewhouse Wouldn’t want to disturb the patina on those grates by cleaning them. It took him a long time to get them just the way he likes them.
