cdavis I had a small plot a couple years ago that I cultivated for about 10 years with sand, grass and fertilizer. It was superb and the product was over the top. Wishing you the same success.

We have got ours in with about 4 rows of green beans, a few maters, lots of peppers, about a half row of chard, maybe 6 hills each of Candy Lope, Squarsh, & Cucumbers, plenty of onions, a few more carrots & radishes. We are still plucking Kale, Collards, & Cabages too & will plant a few okra soon too. I am going to try some Red Okra again. Has any of you all tried any of that Dr. JimZ Chicken Soup for the Soil?

For you folks wanting to set out plants earlier than frost/freezing will allow look into wall of water they are amazing and will allow you to plant weeks earlier.

mrobisr Been using them for years with our pepper & tomato plants. Gives us a 2-3 week head start. (At least when the weather cooperates. No hard freezes, Spring blizzards or heavy hail. )

Plants are coming along. Did some transplanting today. Still waiting for the warmer days. We have had a couple of opportunities to set them outside, but not many.

GWG8541 It is apparently an organic, mineral laden fertilizer of sorts that The Old Farmer’s Almanac promotes quite a bit. You might try doing a search for it & see what comes up.
