They all got fed, entertained, got a portion of the products produced, free beer and access to the liquor barn. Memories and stories are always a bonus. The only thing we didn’t have time for was to sit back, have a sip or two and burn a cigar. Just ran out of time.

YooperDog looks like fun. Still snowing here. Hard to tell how much with 45 mph winds blowing it around. I would guess 10-15" so far. Suppose to keep snowing till tomorrow night. Drove plow truck to work tonight and hit a few driveways. Plowing at work all night with the loader. I’m tired of plowing already. Be safe out there

My wife has been collecting the pottery since my first stint in Germany, 1997. It’s my fault because I started the whole thing. Unfortunately our youngest son’s wife also has the bug and my wife only encourages it. Bad for me because the wife will buy it for her. I just can’t win.

kyle we are at a lull right now. Will be getting out early so folks can get a running start to work. You as well, stay safe out there, many folks don’t pay much attention.

Okay so here are some pics of the two day marathon. My brother was happy to get his Romanian sausage and our dog was waiting for him to make one mistake. Our son and his wife came over so I could work the smoker. It was too cold to bring out the non insulated smoker, new project is on the list. I prefer to hang most meat/sausage then put it on a grate. Another project.

YooperDog What a great day you must have had. A fun day with family doing something you love. And great sausage to eat to boot. I did cheezits yesterday on the Masterbuilt and had the same problem. Put a pan of boiling water in it to get the temp high enough for it to start. Then had to wait for it to dry out. That said, I still wouldn’t trade it for anything else for the price.

Gmoran your plows are bigger than mine, I have to clear one mile of roadway and my driveway will with my little quad. It has a 52" blade. Used to use my Kubota, but it does not like the hill without chaining it even in 4 wd. The quad also pushes snow a whole lot faster.KIMG0444.JPG KIMG0443.JPG

bocephus We only get it several times a year, but with my steep driveway and my wife having to possibly have to drive into work (52 miles each way), I have to make sure it’s clear. That plus we need to keep the road clear in the neighborhood along with the gates since we live so far out, people leave for work early. The neighbor and I are retired so we keep the snow plowed and peoples drives cleared, at least those who have hills.

zbigjeff My playroom, it’s a bit full 40x52, 40x40 main shop, another 12x40 shop on the back that has a car stored in it plus lumber and garden stuff. Had to have a place for all my work tool boxes when they kicked me to the curb.
