Since the temps were in the teens and I wanted to smoke a protein, I went with a nice quick marinated Salmon with a honey bourbon glaze to finish it. While it was smoking, I did some fried rice and an Avocado salad for sides. Relatively healthy, but really tasty.

Philly cheese steak bake. KS raised beef T bone, rather than traditional ribeye. Cut against the grain, the t bone works just as well.

calldoctoday gaining back some of that weight I lost. I don’t recommend that diet plan though.

Not sure if this counts as cooking but did some cold smoking tonight. Now the wait begins.

Gmoran All types of “cooking” counts. While it’s for eating today, tomorrow and/or beyond. This blog thought that smoking cheeses was such a good subject, that there’s a blog that only talks about “Smoking Cheeses” https://meatgistics.waltonsinc.com/topic/1345/smoking-cheese?_=1644165213152

Left over du jour. The wife and I tag teamed for lunch. She wanted pasta salad and ham and bean soup. She whipped up a pasta salad with fresh veggies, some smoked cheese and pepperoni. I did ham and bean soup with Great Northerns I started soaking last night. The ham was a pound of diced that was vac packed from leftover Christmas ham. A quick, easy and pretty tasty soup and salad.
