What did everyone cook today?
-
Shredded the ham with forks and had to get the boning knife out to get some of it off the bone. Also this is by far my favorite way to eat ham, all I need is some mustard and a sweet roll.

-
Got the vegetables all cut up, everything is added into the pot, time to simmer for a few hours of food love…

-
After three hours of boiling my ham is ready to be shredded…

HerbcoFood sorry man but I glanced and was automatically transported back to anatomy lab and the prepared specimens we had. I seriously saw human lungs and a heart and though the bone was the abdominal aorta ROFL!
The shredded version just looks so good though

Happy Halloween everyone. Started today with some Holly mixed with Chipotle breakfast sausage in the CI. Made some gravy and baked a few biscuits to go along with it.

Halloween charcuterie board for costume party. First attempt at a charcuterie board. I think it came out pretty darn good. But definitely much harder than it looks in the videos I watched to get me to this point.

Surg looks great. I’ll bet that is some work. Congrats

-
cdavis next time stuff it in a bologna casing
I call it “burger bacon” it works great. Slice it about 3/8" thick and cover the burger when you flip itDeparting Contestant I like the sound of that. Next time buger bacon it is. I have plenty of bologna casings. I meant to order 3 and wound up with 300. So I’ll for sure try this out.

The weather has been rainy and cold today, so a little soup was in order. White Chicken Chili.

GWG8541 Snowing here today. That chicken chili would have been a perfect meal. We’ll have to give it a try.

GWG8541 Had a chance to watch the podcast today. The talk about Holly sausage seasoning and your pictures has prompted me to make some more sausage this week. Thanks.
