Today is the day I am making my yearly pot of pinto beans, it all starts with the boiling of the ham. As the day goes on, you’ll just have to be patient to watch how this all comes together…

My 5 year old at it again, at times I feel like I am raising an old man, all that she hasn’t requested is coffee black, the newspaper and a pack of smokes to complete this meal!!

Since I was playing a little game I didn’t post in the thread but last night was Pad Thai (minus the bean sprouts). And yes I love sriracha LOL!

Halloween charcuterie board for costume party. First attempt at a charcuterie board. I think it came out pretty darn good. But definitely much harder than it looks in the videos I watched to get me to this point.

Shredded the ham with forks and had to get the boning knife out to get some of it off the bone. Also this is by far my favorite way to eat ham, all I need is some mustard and a sweet roll.

I call it “burger bacon” it works great. Slice it about 3/8" thick and cover the burger when you flip it
