Samples of a new whisky came in. Given a few to sample.

Wow. If you have a sweet tooth this may be for you.
Imagine the sweetest BBQ sauce youāve ever tried, combined with a charcoal smoky taste. Couldnāt finish it. Way to sweet for me.Had to pour a glass of Elijah to get rid of the taste.

Not a bad drink for $22. Not amazing but have had worse at higher price points.
-
Surg You are very correct.

Just had these 2 yesterday. Both were tasty and different. We were more on a scotch kick yesterday by the way we put a dent into it.

zbigjeff I have a bottle of the Traverse City, I like it a pretty unique flavor. What did you think of it?

YooperDog Thereās 2 styles of the Traverse City. One āplainā and one with ātraverse city cherriesā. This version is the ācherryā. Itās very tasty and only has a āhintā of cherry. Very drinkable. Also, found out that they also have a competitor to the āluxardoā cherries for old fashions and manhattans called ātraverse city cherriesā which is the same price. Iāve not ordered them yet. Canāt find it in Ohio. Itās only available through online. Will advise when I receive and perform a comparison. Btw: the plain brand of bourbon is pretty good. But, do prefer the cherry flavored more.

A patient of mine challenged me to start experiencing locally distilled whiskey so I purchased

Not my picture but I have not tried it yet. I was just told that one of the local attorney started a distillery and has a product I needed to try. Iāll let you know how it comes out

Dr_Pain Hoping it turns out well for YOU. Thereās a number of ādistilleriesā that have popped up locally and locals are worthy to try. At least theyāre different. Have fun.
