PapaSop I usually drink mine straight up as well but there’s a couple of really good GA out there. We like Vernor’s and Canada Dry makes a BOLD GA. Bourbon and Ginger tastes real good after cutting the lawn on a hot day!( but so does an ice cold beer! or 2/3/4!)

Bob Stehlik Try Buffalo Rock, it is the best if you are going to mix something with either a Bourbon or Tennessee Whiskey. You just about do not even need anything to go with the Buffalo Rock GA, that spice is so right.

First try on this one. Very tasty. My unrefined taste buds say vanilla right away. Any better taste buds out there?

PapaSop I have tried that. It’s pretty smooth and easy to sip. I like your cute little bottles. They would work well for taking them to a tasting party.

Yep. Work freebie, don’t buy them. Seems like one just didn’t cut it… LOL

Scooped a bottle this this evening, not too bad neat. My taste buds are a little off…maybe closer to way off currently. But I can pick up on the butterscotch after taste.

glen My buddy was saying they have a 16 year out there that is allegedly really good. Of course with today’s dark water craze it’s difficult to find.

Last nights dessert, I only had one because after that it would upset my stomach. However, I have some ideas to make a milkshake with this stuff. It would also be wonderful poured over vanilla ice cream. My wife wanted to drink the whole bottle by her self.

I am drinking a new product from Leinenkugel’s. It a collaboration lager from Hofbrau Munchen and Leinenkugel’s made with German malts and American hops. Its a nice amber lager. I tried the first one camping this weekend and have another one beside me right now.

The next picture is a look into a future drink. We collected some Pawpaws to make a batch of mead with some honey we recently harvested. The last Pawpaw mead we fermented was really good. Hoping for the same or better results.

calldoctoday I’ll be in Tennessee in 3 weeks, but Pawpaws are the native state fruit of Ohio. These were from around Greenfield, Ohio. There are plenty around here, but I’m amazed at the people who do not know what they are and that they are edible. I like snacking on them and had several this weekend. My Mom was from the Great State of Tennessee and loved them.

GWG8541 I learned something else today as I did not realize they were the state fruit of Ohio. That makes since though as far as some of the terrain & climate goes. Yes, most folks any more have never even heard of them (unless they probably are from Kantucky, Tennessee, or of course Ohio), much less know that they taste good. Of course, that seems to apply to a whole lot of things we have eaten in the past. Now what really sounds good is that Paw Paw Mead you are talking about. I would really like to find out how that turns out, but I already know its got to be good. Now just to figure out how to get my hands (mouth) on some.
