Man, you are killing me with that burger & dog picture. That plate looks to be just the right size for one person. I could definitely belly-up to that.

YooperDog It’s all about priorities. You have them in the correct location. Glad you could get out and ride. We had 39 and snow/rain alllllllll day. We should be 70. Must be global warming.

zbigjeff One of my clients must be up near you. They indicated just about the exact same on Saturday. Amazing, & it was approaching 80 & the humidity is on the rise. All you all can’t be that far away!

calldoctoday All that day was good for was sitting inside sippin’ on either “whiskeys or wine”. Looks like there’s a warmup coming next week. It can’t get here soon enough. So, I prepped up 5 thighs and 4 breasts by pounding them, seasoned them with homemade emeril creole seasoning, stuffed them with either smoked cheddar or gouda wrapped in prosciutto and wrapped them in bacon, cooled them overnight and vacuum packed them for the freezer. I’m currently cooking like a madman getting ready for hip replacement rehab where I can’t be on my feet (no weight bearing) for four weeks. Just filling up the freezer and will reheat soups, beef stroganoff, rice, quinoa, mashed potatoes, variety of veggies, chicken, stuffed pork chops, etc via sous vide. Doing that because I can’t bring myself to eat recommended store bought processed frozen dinners. So, used the day wisely.

zbigjeff You’ll be surprised how fast you’ll be up and about. The first day you’ll be walking. They don’t want you sitting idle. I had my knee’s replaced in 2010 three month’s apart. They had me out of bed the next morning, walking the hall.

johnsbrewhouse I wish that was the case. But, due to some issue, he is planning on going in from the back (posterior) vs the front (anterior) as of right now. Thinking they are advising me the worse right now and then, maybe I’ll be overjoyed if they tell me they went in the other way when I awaken. We will see.

Well you know you won’t be sitting if it’s posterior. Hopefully it’s anterior. I know # 2 knee was better and faster healing than #1. They over medicated me with the first one. Wishing you the best though, surgery is not our friend as we age. I still need another fusion, but holding out for a better procedure.

zbigjeff We truly wish you the very, very best & a full & complete recovery & the ability to keep getting around. I had a knee done about 15 years ago & cannot even begin to imagine a whole hip. Hang in there!
