    cdavis I too had a taxidermy business on the side . Closed it about 10 yrs ago. Kids were grown and I decided I didnt want 2 full time jobs anymore. I still do a little because I too love it so much. I just did these fish for my grandsons. they were their first ones they caughtIMG_0704.jpg

      Thanks! Stay Safe! I did 8yrs in the Air Force, 24yrs with the GFPD, and about 10yrs as an investigator with the state… Retirement is the best gig I’ve had.

          Lance I’ll check it out. Thanks. I was born in Odessa in 62. My dad went to Ozonna every year to deer hunt. He had a lot of success there.

              cdavis That is just amazing from start to finish!
              There is another guy I ran across out your way that has a whole building full of those just about. Mainly elk & Caribou though, if I recall correctly. I think he said he got all of them with a bow!

                  cdavis Look great!I am sure you will have very happy customers. I used to do 30-40 deer heads every year and still do a few for friends and old customers that wont take no for an answer but I have been playing with reproduction fish lately. They are a challengeIMG_0684.jpg

                    cdavis Thats cool. Theres still a lot of hunting goig on out here . Its one of our major incoming sources sense the decline in natural gas production.

                          HAHAHAA!! Did you expect anything different LOL!! Actually if I have one of those full mounted it will feel like a family reunion. I do come from the far reaches of Quebec and all my brothers are above 6’ (I’m 6’6” and my younger brother is 6’8”). The only thing missing is the hairiness 😉

                            Thanks. Yeah that is a really nice buck but I just mounted his brother’s deer that green scored 203. I’ll post a picture of that one when it is finished.

                                RON PARRISH well it looks like you have it down pretty good. That bass looks great. I gave up on fish. I never could get the painting good enough to suit me. My hat is off to you!

                                  Lance our deer season just ended on the 15th. How do you find time for taxidermy with all your processing and sausage making. You must be a very busy man.
