Tex_77 I could not find any of the Prohibition or 1920 around here, but still have a little 101 & also have some in my Apple Cider/Bourbon brine for that pork loin tomorrow.

Happy New Year to you & your family & hope you have a great New Year.

I don’t think I’ve ever see a blue label Dickel before I believe the two I have in the liquor cabinet is black and a white.

@dennyo that blue label was bottled in bond. It was a nice 100 proof pick up this year.

Received this gem for a Xmas present from my girl while visiting down in Atlanta, GA. It’s a remembrance that hopefully one day we will visit that exact castle (HighClere) while on a river cruise that has been booked for now 3 years. You know that I usually imbibe bourbons. But, do enjoy different styles of distilled spirits. Prior to tasting this import, my fav gin Bombay Blue Sapphire. This one from England is hard to find in the states and is one that doesn’t come in contact with a spruce tree. It is the tastiest I’ve ever come in contact with after sampling probably over 30 different models. Read the story of where it’s from. The story is as good as the taste. Made both a Gin and Tonic with a twist and a dry martini with 4 olives.Resized_IMG_20211228_211933_00[1].jpeg Resized_IMG_20211228_211933_01[1].jpeg20220104_172210.jpg

Jonathon The Old Fashioned and Supper Clubs go hand n’ hand in Wisconsin. Almost every Supper Club puts their own twist on the Old Fashioned. It can be a fun journey to see how many you can visit. (not all in the same day of course!)

Pretty much a staple up this way. Funny part is, don’t care for them. I know…
