Tex_77 I picked up a bottle of the 1920 Prohibition a few months ago and it goes down smooth for a 115 proof. Thats a great pick up.

GWG8541 Really enjoy the the blue BIB. It’s in the arsenal and always on the cycle of tasting. Glad you also enjoyed.

Surg Keep on trying the make that “perfect” old fashioned. You may never make it. But, the journey is a fantastic one.

Received this gem for a Xmas present from my girl while visiting down in Atlanta, GA. It’s a remembrance that hopefully one day we will visit that exact castle (HighClere) while on a river cruise that has been booked for now 3 years. You know that I usually imbibe bourbons. But, do enjoy different styles of distilled spirits. Prior to tasting this import, my fav gin Bombay Blue Sapphire. This one from England is hard to find in the states and is one that doesn’t come in contact with a spruce tree. It is the tastiest I’ve ever come in contact with after sampling probably over 30 different models. Read the story of where it’s from. The story is as good as the taste. Made both a Gin and Tonic with a twist and a dry martini with 4 olives.

Welp I drank a lot of my apple pie drink I made on New Year’s Eve, woke up with some gnarly acid reflux in the middle of the night. Something I haven’t had in about 3 years, think I will ration it better into my gut.

HerbcoFood sounds like to me that you need more training which means more to build tolerance.

Jonathon The Old Fashioned and Supper Clubs go hand n’ hand in Wisconsin. Almost every Supper Club puts their own twist on the Old Fashioned. It can be a fun journey to see how many you can visit. (not all in the same day of course!)
