Also, I tested @The-Fridge-Raider and he knew it right away. Kids and their pop culture! My brain is too full of Monty Python quotes and random NFL stats from the 00s to remember celebrity names.

Back in the day, that would have been the doggy version of a Wet Willy.

My head is so full of useless knowledge I can’t believe I can remember anything of real importance!
@ndmike I feel like that every day just about now & the more I learn, every day, the worse it seems to get!

PapaSop - I love a good Bloody Mary. I usually skewer Habanero dill pickle, a cube of smoked cheese celery and a stick of bacon. But as you know, there are a ton of possibilities.

Nothing quite like a cool one after planting trees most of the day. And it’s from the Republic of Beer!
I think it used to be called Budvar, the original Budweiser.

processhead I remember Budvar or something close to that during my time in Europe. Do you know if the name change is just here in the States or a permanent across the board?

According to a little quick research, it is still marketed as Budvar in most of the world.
It is marketed as Czechvar here in the US and in 6 other countries after some long standing legal squabbles with Anheuser Busch. -

GWG8541 Shoosh!!! Don’t get THAT on anyone’s radar scope. Ok, go ahead. It’s one of the most reasonable smooth, almost unknown, not advertised whiskies out there. Had it first about 8 yrs ago. Brought it to a fireside chat and poof, it was gone. Bought another one and have sipped on it in a rotation about every month. Very good choice if you enjoy whisky.

Just a warning for today’s events. Will be reverse searing some thick ribeyes and doing what we do best. Sippin’ on some bourbon.

I have celiac disease so I have to be gluten free so this is one of the few beers I can drink. Took me a long time to get used to it but now it just tastes like beer! Goes good when I’m rolling smoke!!!

-
I got a bottle of Weller Green

zbigjeff Careful, anything over a 100proof is flammable.

JoeB Whew. Made it. We kept everything 96 and under. No flameouts.

Chef That’s exactly what we started out with when reverse searing some steaks shown on the cooking link. Then, we went to the Red label for an after dinner sip.
