macsinsac I saw that video, that was what inspired me to ask. I’m not so sure about the deviled ham.

Randyman Now that sounds interesting, smoked pickled eggs. We used to have so many eggs that we had pickle a lot of them & still gave away a whole lot. That is when we found that, keep your seat belt fastened, some folks do not like homegrown chicken eggs. That was mind boggling to me, pardon me for saying so.

Joe Hell I’d continue on with the trip, you only live once, just take plenty of everclear with you to disinfect, and don’t breath the air!

No plans I guess with no one getting together. Perhaps my go to rib eye and a shrimp skewer.

Tex_77 my lovely wife makes a guacamole /bacon deviled egg that is amazing. probably a handful of recipes in the cookbook of the gods of the internet. Easter is normally a huge three meal day. This year we are keeping it simple, not even doing hot cross buns. driving in to town Saturday to help out a local restaurant and pick-up some “heat and eat” for Sunday.
It’s going to be rainy (it is suppose to be sunny on Easter) I will probably head out to the “hideout” for a cigar and a couple of good beers. Happy Easter to all my Blue and Orange hat wearing amigos!

Bone in rib-eye roast, sweet potato’s maybe some green beans. Can’t decide whether to smoke the roast or just sear it on the Char-Broil and finish in the oven.

Departing Contestant lol. We have been slinging bacon like crazy at the shop…so much that I feel bad if I take any for myself. Our current bacon lineup is English, Cottage, Peppered, Chorizo, Jalapeño and standard (boring). Our sausages today will all be ‘infused’ with hard cider or wine from the Locust Cider Co… We will have a Rosemary Plum breakfast sausage and Dark Cherry Chipotle, Apricot Habanero, Honey Pear/Prickly Pear and Hot Italian brats.

We somewhat recently came up with a great glaze and I made it the last time we were up there with the understanding that I would do it again at Easter.
