PapaSop Yeah Papa, R&R never popped up on my radar until my wife bought it for the bottle to decorate our faux patio bar.
I couldn’t bear the thought of that poor whiskey feeling abandoned and lonely so I gave it a good “home” and refilled with tea
I think it is pretty good for the price point

HerbcoFood .Just now realized. R&R is a Canadian Whisky. The rest are all bourbon’s. Huge difference.

glen Thanks. Just a regular rye whiskey. Maybe I don’t need to try it.

I did some purchasing last night, I liked the Early Times the best, the Thunder Chicken was a little hot.

HerbcoFood Never had the Early Times. But, have had the others. So, since I like both the RB and 1792, will have to try the Early Times on my next visit. Thanks for the review.

zbigjeff Early Times was creamy, for the price point I was shocked how good it was.

HerbcoFood that Early Times was pretty good stuff, especially at the price. Heck, all of those are good picks.

One of my favorite fall drinks. I heat some fresh apple cider and mull with some spices (ussually allspice, nutmeg, clove, and cinnamon). Mix about 2 parts cider with 1 part Jack Daniels Tennessee Fire cinnamon whiskey. I mixed a few of these camping with just the cider, whiskey and a cinnamon stick and it was great. I’ve done them as a cold drink also. I do not use or drink Fireball since it is way to sweet for my taste.

Went the Apple cider hot toddy route tonight.
Will have to try it with the Jack Fire cinnamon when I can get my hands on some. Went with the rebel 100 for tonight.

Surg i may do the same tonight. I made them with black label JD before the Tennessee Fire came out. The wife is talking about building a fire outside. Its the perfect drink around a fire on a cool fall night.

I even mentioned breaking out the ol chimenea. Margaret says we need to check the heat & make sure it is working, especially her little space heater…

Yes great for getting out and enjoying the day. It also signals the rush to get things in order before the sn** arrives ( refuse to accept it). Great for hunting and enjoying a good fire. My punchlist keeps growing and the days keep getting shorter. The good thing is it is getting better for cold smoking.

A Tullamore DEW Irish Coffee for the wife and I. Another great drink on a fall evening.
