What did everyone cook today?
-
Big storm heading this way so I will be busy plowing tomorrow and won’t have much time to cook, so I did it all today. Two tenderloin fillets, mushrooms, onions and roasted brussel sprouts with bacon and blackberry ginger balsamic vinegar. For later some Texas Twinkies and armadillo eggs.

YooperDog all that looks fantastic

YooperDog I love my weather rock. My Father used to make them. This one he made for me in the 70’s. Quite the conversation piece. By the way, nice Polish pottery dinner ware.

Bob Stehlik your rock is awesome

-
HerbcoFood I went for years just frying it. Last year decided to try the grill. I can’t believe
I missed out on this all these years
.cdavis Yep, blackened then grilled are my favorite two ways to have fish.

Made some more sausage and sticks. Everyone asked for something hotter than last batch of jalapeño with ghost cheese. These are jalapeño mix with hot pepper cheese, added 14 trinadad scorpion peppers and 1/4 cup of habanero powder. Should have some bite!!! 3 pound venison backstrap, 2 pound beef roast and 7 pound pork butt, double grind

Grilled some bass this evening with captain’s bay seasoning. It was great.
the fish grilling basket is a great tool.cdavis looks good and I like grilling baskets. Help keeps everything together and the fish stays in one piece.
