Got a pic today of the Easter Sunday ham.

                PXL_20210404_165442022.jpg

Well, not exactly ham. Can’t remember the last time we didn’t have ham over the course of two days. Guess everyone wanted to be outside grilling with a beautiful two days we just had. Perhaps a new tradition.

                                  PapaSop that’s pretty cool!

A buddy of mine has a huge homemade version of that in his backyard. It’s about 6x6 feet and made on a cinder block base. The grate is made of rebar with expanded steel (the heavy diamond mesh looking stuff) welded to it. They cook about 25 chicken halves at a time. Fill the bottom with chunk charcoal. Spritz the chicken with cider vinegar + butter mixture and then flip routinely (a two man job). His family used to do chicken in this manner for the whole town.

His wife has been begging him to take it down because it takes up so much space. This would make a great replacement.

PapaSop Here is a friend of mine who does catering and his flip flop grill. It is just one of six that he has had built, all stainless steel. Quite the set-up, the firebox raises and lowers and it breaks down to fit his trailer. 96234201-5084-42f9-b250-ba4d3fa10402-image.png

PapaSop It’s nice when you cater businesses that do fabrication welding, they take care of you when you take care of them. Shaun take good care of those grills, pressure washes them after every use.
