Bún Thịt Nướng tonight. As is usually the case, my dear wife did all the hard work and I helped with the grilling.
Slices of marinated pork loin, and sliced Nem Chua cured sour pork sausage, cooked hot and fast on the grill served over a bed of rice noodles, bean sprouts, fresh mint, green onion sauteed in bacon fat, chopped lettuce, nuoc cham , and peanuts.

It is a traditional Vietnamese dish, but you would likely find something very similar in Thai cooking as well.

These Asian cooking styles really have a lot going on flavor-wise and texture-wise. Sweet, sour, savory, hot chilis, garlic and herbal flavors, all in balance. Healthy eating that leaves you satisfied when your done.
I am a big fan and have my wife to thank for turning me on to so many delicious dishes. She is an excellent, self taught cook and I have the belly to show for it.

Made some store bought corned beef in the sous vide. Came out great. Used the meat rubbed with pickling spices and added 1/2 an onion sliced and a cup or so of beef broth to the bag. Then 175 for 12 hours. Definitely recommend trying. Sorry no pics this time around.
