PapaSop Knife.jpg )This is a knife that was passed down from my Great Aunt on my Mother’s side to my Dad, who gave it to me. Jonathon sharpened it when I won a knife sharpening and did a great job. PapaSop how’s that for a background.

Well, I guess we’re all about the same. Everything has its place. Although I don’t cook with it anymore, has become a solid transfer piece. Grill to table.

bocephus nice, that’s somewhere between a large breaking knife and a sabre. It’s kinda hard to see with that big orange glare. Maybe you could take a better pic with a nice pleasing to the eyes blue background.

PapaSop Sounds like my strange thing where I do not like to wash my coffee cups with soap if I can help it, just a through rinse. I know that sounds strange & unhygienic, but I have always been like that & as far as I know, never got sick over it. Of course I used one cup for over 30 years until Margaret broke it. I had another just like it for 10 before that & the same thing happened. Hopefully this one will be it.

PapaSop I’ll agree on the cold. We are expecting another round of ice tonight. Not as cold as you all up north, but I’m ready for spring.

calldoctoday This is my coffee cup, I have had it for over 35 years, it might get washed once a year, just rinsed or wiped out the rest of the time. I always worry that I will drop it sometime and break it. Notice the company on it, they are long gone and the brewery is now on the National register of historic places and only 30 miles from me. I visited it regularly to get free beer.IMG_0059.JPG

I always worry that I will drop it sometime and break it. Notice the company on it, they are long gone and the brewery is now on the National register of historic places and only 30 miles from me. I visited it regularly to get free beer.IMG_0059.JPG

calldoctoday This is my coffee cup, I have had it for over 35 years, it might get washed once a year, just rinsed or wiped out the rest of the time. Drank some myself back in the day. Was cheaper than a 12pk of Coke.
One mug I have got chipped somehow, had to retire it, not to the trash, but to a display case. Just can’t get rid of a gift I guess, especially when it has meaning.
