GWG8541 for the finest final product, use the finest ingredients. My brother drinks high dollar stuff, he only uses frozen cubes that look like rocks, not ice cubes because he doesn’t want to water it down.

kyle GWG8541 It’s hilarious how all of the bourbonites out there praise the “right way” to drink their liquor. Reading Pappyland (all about the Van Winkle clan and Pappy Van Winkle) and that whole family drank their bourbon “ON THE ROCKS WITH A TWIST”. So, please just have fun with IT.

zbigjeff I have fun evertime I drink bourbon! I am by no means a purest. I like mixed drinks made from bourbon, I’m just too cheap to mix with the good stuff. I buy Benchmark buy the half gallon for my mixer bourbon. 19.99 a half gallon and it tastes pretty darn good straight up.kyle my favorite whiskey drink is an Old Fashioned and every once in a while I’ll do one with the good stuff mainly for a higher proof. A Gold Rush is another really good summer whiskey drink.

GWG8541 I just find it funny, when I went to see a buddy in Arizona, every place I ordered an ol fashion, the bartender would say…“you must be from Wisconsin”. Same thing happened in Vegas. I use Even Williams or Jesse James for my ol fashions. Nothing fancy but I like the taste. My brother on the other hand has a bourbon room in his house that looks like an old speak easy. He goes on bourbon tours and drinks high dollar stuff. I drink to fast to spend much on a good bottle

hey vegetarians, my food poops on your food!

GWG8541 Nothing wrong with mixing with the lower priced stuff. I drink a Jack n Coke usually if I step into a bar unless they do have a great selection of one’s I haven’t had in awhile or ever. Just enjoy it YOUR way and if you can, do it with friends.

calldoctoday its distilled by Buffalo Trace. An old timer told me about it. Cannot beat it for mixing, especially for partys. Nothing wrong with Old Forrester. It has a little more kick
