zbigjeff I saw both of these this weekend, glad to know they are good. I picked up a bottle of Mitcher’s Rye.
Tex_77 Mitcher’s Rye is another one I need to add to the overflowing arsenal for the Rye side of life when I want that spicy taste. My Rye side has dwindled since my daughter in Indiana is the driving force with the “hotter is better” thought and haven’t seen them since this C19 frenzy came around. So, I better start to crank that side up when all of her restrictions bust apart.

Added two new one’s to the arsenal this weekend. Yellowstone Rye and Woodinville Bourbon finished in port casks. The Yellowstone is smooth but a spicy rye because of its 93 proof strength. The “Woodinville” in Port cask is really smooth and is a winner neat. Meaning you don’t need water/ice to sip on it. At 90 proof, it seems like 80. The Woodinville in port casks is even smoother than the regular Woodinville Bourbon that only stored in bourbon barrels.
zbigjeff You cannot go wrong with the Woodinville. I’m on my second bottle since discovering it about 6 months ago.

PapaSop They are a great price point compared to Tito’s. Enchanted Rock and Western Son also two other good Texas vodka brands.

Exactly what our reps are telling me. Many on premise accounts are now pouring these. The other part is that these products also have the color added. One less step for the mixologists out there.
The flavored but clear products are slowly fading away.

zbigjeff keep an eye on that Woodinville bottle. The one I have seems to have a leak in it.

GWG8541 Ya know, this is getting to be a problem. Both the Woodinville in Port Casks and the Yellowstone Rye evaporated a little more last night. I need to put a timed camera on these two. Didn’t see any of the others in the arsenal dissipate like that.

zbigjeff Yep and they would not refund my money. I had to buy a new bottle.

Tex_77 I had a bottle a few years ago and really enjoyed it. I also got it as a gift. I understand the distillery has diversified a little and has several blends out now. Enjoy

I broke open the Basil Hayden’s Caribbean Reserve Rye finished in Rum barrels. It is a real good one. My original plan was to finish off the Eagle Rare next, but the new one is worth a second glass instead. Slainte

Joe Hell Yep, my Eagle Rare in the arsenal is being placed on the “replenish” list after checking levels of all last night. Since when is “is hitting” the “replenish” list (the “is hitting” was censored) bad words??? I replaced that with “placed on”. Sorry that I was a very, very, bad boy.

Joe Hell zbigjeff same with me gentlemen. I got tired of searching for it at my local liquor stores because of all these bourbon pirates following the delivery trucks and buying it to resale. I ussually stay 1 or 2 bottles ahead, but decided I needed a COVID stash. Im up 4 right now.
