Jonathon’s soft jerky!!! Well worth the wait if you ask me. I did have to improvise with a smoke tube and my pellet grill since I don’t have a dedicated smoker. I used my BBQ thermoworks setup to run through the cooking schedule. So far so good

Dr_Pain So glad you’re recovered enough to get back to processing. Jerky looks tasty for sure.

Had a need to process aged cherry and roma tomatoes. So, I roasted 3 lbs of tomatoes, red pepper, carrots, onions and celery with the normal herbs of basil, oregano, thyme, s&p and 5 cloves of garlic. Used another tool (Vitamix) to puree all materials. Just had to accompany this soup with a grilled cheese sandwich.20220126_180743.jpg 20220126_180803.jpg

cdavis The Vitamix never lets me down as long as the items used are “proper”. That tool makes many soups, smoothies and ice cream in a flash and creamy.

My first meal cooking it myself since getting COVID last week. Some beef fillet in the carbon steel, a few shrimp and a baked sweet potatoe. Easy, but delicious. As you can see from the screen shot, I was watching Jonathon doing the livestream while trying to cook.

zbigjeff yeah, the taste is still out of wack for certain foods. This tasted great though. I am real careful with salt, and any spice right now. Plain seems to be best route for now. Anything with to much salt is horrible.
